The Division of Labour Against the Backdrop of Globalization

Posted by in Uncategorized

Ok I know all you intelligent people out there want the facts. Well here it is.

Minimum wage in Mexico:
$1,753 a year. Yeah. YEAR! that is $146 a MONTH or $37 a WEEK. I dare you, I DARE YOU, to tell any American person you will pay them $37 a week to work 40 hours. That is $.93 AN HOUR! If you count the work-week at 40 hours, which they do not. Yeah next time you need an employ pay them $.93, before taxes.

Minimum wage in China:
$2,040 a year. Yeah. YEAR! that is $170 a MONTH or $43 a WEEK! I dare you to pay a person in America to work and you will pay them $43 a week. A person in Mexico will jump at the chance but an American will say go f’ yourself. Seriously that works out to $1.06 AN HOUR! But there average work week is 60 hours so more like $.72. HOUR! That is horrific.
*I used this list but it is impossible to even know. Here is a list of minimum wages in various cities http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_in_China_(PRC) and http://seeingredinchina.com/2011/03/02/how-much-does-a-chinese-factory-worker-make. Oh and for the record, I used an average of $170 a month, which is generous.*

But, Mr Expert NAFTA guy, they like that, they think its alot. Yeah. Your right. You can buy an iPhone in china for only $439.46. Whats that, 3 months wages. Your right, they don’t need money, dumbass.

China’s take on Free Trade Agreements

Posted by in Uncategorized

The following is taken from http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=081106153923.81b47aw4 which did an interview with Qin Gang, the foreign ministry spokesman.

…”We hope that the policy of free trade will continue to be adhered to. We must prevent trade protectionism, which is no good for either side,” foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang said, when asked if he thought Obama would be more protectionist.(China speaking)
But of course, that makes perfect sense, what kind of country would want to protect it’s economy?

Obama, who won the US presidential election Tuesday, said during his campaign that China’s huge trade surplus(huge trade surplus) with the United States was related to its manipulation of its currency.

“Some people in America think the trade imbalance between China and America is caused by the yuan exchange rate, but as a matter of fact, I believe we should have a correct understanding of trade between China and the US,” Qin said. “We admit there’s a trade imbalance between China and the US… but you cannot put the blame on China. It’s the result of the division of labour against the backdrop of economic globalisation.”
Of course that’s it, the divison of labour against the backdrop of globilisation…? WTF!? Ok division of labour, labour divided, the workforce is divded throughout the world. Ok. The backdrop of economic globalisation. To me this means when you consider the economics of the whole world. So we have the division of labour, the workforce divided throughout the world and the very nature of the exonomics of the world creates a trade imbalance. China is saying it in a f’ing press release and we still dont understand it. FREE TRADE SCREWS AMERICA go to part 3 FREE TRADE SCREWS AMERICA!

What is NAFTA

Posted by in Uncategorized

NAFTA is quite simply the North American Free Trade Agreement that came into force on January 1, 1994. The goal of NAFTA was to eliminate barriers to trade and investment between the US, Canada and Mexico. The actual bill itself simply guarantees protection to stimulate foreign investment in the US and the movement of factories within the hemisphere, especially from the United States to Canada and Mexico. But most importantly no protections were in the agreement to maintain labor or environmental standards. What this means is that child labor, working conditions, minimum wage, none of this was established. As a result, NAFTA tilted the economic playing field in favor of investors, and against workers and the environment, resulting in a “race to the bottom” in wages and environmental quality. Clinton while signing the NAFTA bill stated: “…NAFTA means jobs. American jobs, and good-paying American jobs. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t support this agreement.” Good paying American jobs for everyone but Americans. Please continue to part 2

We are still working on the website

Today is day one of our journey to educate the American people. We plan to show the numbers behind NAFTA, and free trade in general. Free trade agreements are killing the American economy, as well as other developed nations. And 2 more were just signed recently. So far the general public do not yet know about us, the harms of NAFTA, and the 99 percent – occupy wall street movement, but that will change. Please bookmark our site as we plan to get the ball rolling as soon as we can. But unfortunatly, for now we recommend you visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Free_Trade_Agreement for the best information. Alternatively a site we recommend  is http://www.cfr.org/economics/naftas-economic-impact/p15790 for an accurate view on the effects this simple trade agreement has caused.
